Life is Good

I was sitting this morning drinking my coffee, reading my Bible, and listening to my children coming down the stairs after getting up from a full night's sleep. As I was listening to their sweet voices, I was caught up in enjoying their chatter and thinking about how much I love my children and what a good life it is. After about 30 seconds of utopia, Meka yells "Joey pooped on the floor!" BAM, there goes the utopia and its a wonderful life! Joey by the way is a dear friend's little dog that came to stay with us for a couple of nights. Molly just loves having him here and they just play and play.

Circus

We were able to go the circus on Monday. The girls were really excited and had a good time. We were thrilled that Michael got off work in time to be able to go with us (especially since we had already bought the tickets!). Meka had prayed a couple of nights before "Dear Lord, please please let my Daddy go to the circus with us. Cause I love my Daddy and want him to go." So on the way to the circus Meka prayed and thanked God that her Daddy was able to go. There is no other like her Daddy!

Tigers are so beautiful!
The Elephants are so cute.

Meka's favorite thing was the group of little ponies!

Oh, Hail!

We had a big hail storm yesterday evening. There were several tornado warnings as well. Our storm radio (a Christmas gift from Michael's parents) keep going off with warnings. It gives this loud beep beep beep and then the warning. Poor Molly is scarred for life between the house alarm going off the other night and the storm alarm going off all evening. At one point Michael and I were standing at the front door watching all the hail pouring down and Molly just freaks out and runs out into the storm in our front yard. She wouldn't come back to us because every direction she went she was being hit with hail. She was totally scared and freaking out. Strangest thing, I have heard of dogs freaking out over storms. So, of course, I had to run out into the hail storm and get the *&%$#( dog! I was thinking the whole time that I was going to be hit by lighting. Michael said he was thinking that I was going to be knocked out by the hail and then he was going to have to go out and get me. Molly isn't normally allowed upstairs but last night as soon as I went to bed, she came and crawled under the bed so I didn't make a big deal of it. She slept there all night under the bed.

This one was huge.

Picture catch-up

Update on break-ins: The next day we found a flashlight outside that belonged to the guy. We called the police and they took it as evidence. I didn't get much sleep again last night. The police have really been patrolling the area which makes me feel a little better.

I wanted to try and go back and catch-up on some pictures.
Meka LOVES to make brownies and then lick the bowl!

We went to a pumpkin farm/corn maze back in October with our dear friends. This is Meka, Madison and Sadie having a good time.
Have you ever seen such a cute little face?!
Princess Meka couldn't go without her crown!

I telling you, Meka, for the last time....

Friends Forever!

Madison and Ava fixin to duck race!

Meka's favorite place to be, with a horse of any kind!

We've got our pumpkin and we are going home!

Break-in

Someone broke into our house last night. We had just gone to bed and we heard them busting in the door. The alarm went off and the dog was barking. I guess they ran when the alarm went off. What kind of person breaks into your house when they know you are there! Are they on drugs? I hate this. I am constantly look at the back door now. I carry my cell phone with me and hold the remote for our security system in my hand at all times. I am going to the store today and getting a good old fashioned baseball bat and I will knock the tar out of someone if they try to hurt me or my kids!! I am thinking about getting another dog too. A big one!

We live in a pretty nice neighborhood and I thought we were pretty safe. But this is the fourth break-in in our neighborhood in the last couple of weeks. They broke into one of Michael's co-workers night before last. They broke-in, grabbed a purse off the counter and ran. For some reason they dropped the purse while running out. I don't know if that is what they are looking for, stuff just left out on the counters that they can run in, grab and be gone.

I don't know but it gives me a big headache. Please say a prayer for us!
