These are a few pictures from the last month. It seems that I can only manage to upload pictures once a month:) Maybe I will get better but there are no promises:)
Meka is still taking her horseback riding lessons. She loves it and loves the pony she rides, Smudge. Smudge is an old feller but does great with Meka. It is a perfect combination for her to learn.

We got the girls a little inflatable pool and boy have they had a great time playing in the water and "swimming":)
Daddy makes a great floatie.
This is our cat Sally playing peek-a-boo.

Meka is in the primary theatre camp at our local culture arts. These are a few shots from practice. The actual play is tonight so maybe I will get some photos posted.

Over Memorial Day weekend we went to visit Michael's parents in AL. The blackberries were just starting to ripen. Madison loves to pick and eat any berry. Blueberries are her favorite but she sure enjoyed pickin those blackberries at Grandmother and Grand's house! Meka will help pick them but she won't eat them.

Future ballerina, Little Miss Madison!

Meka had her first dance recital on Tuesday, May 19th. She did a wonderful job. She had said earlier in the day that she didn't know how she would do on a stage because she had never been on one before but just let me tell you that she was great! She never missed a beat. When she turned 5 in January she said that she wanted to take dance. I told her it was either dance or gymnastic, she couldn't do both. She wanted dance. I wanted her to stay in gymnastics but I do believe that she has a natural talent for dance. She was very confident during the recital and actually won an award for Leader of the Class. She said that she felt like a star later that evening after the show. Too cute. We are soooo proud of her!!

Meka was in the children's musical, just one song. However, she loved being a part of it and can't wait to big in the big kid's choir.

After the performance, Madison had to try the butterfly wings out for size. She was so cute running around the front lawn of the church.

I can't believe that it has been over two weeks since I have posted anything. Time sure does fly! I know that I have taken enough pictures though. We have been to the botanical garden, celebrated Resurrection Day, and we went to the zoo. So I have probably taken one thousand pictures, no joking. Anyway, I won't bore you with all of them but I thought I would post a few. It will be hard to pick just a few but I will try.

We had wonderful and beautiful days for each event. The girls had great times too. Madison really enjoyed seeing the Zebras at the zoo. She also had a blast hunting eggs at cousin Selina's house. At the botanical gardens, there was a beautiful water fountain that Meka loved playing in the water. I think she would have stayed there all day! She also found a ladybug that she played and played with. She loves to play with and watch bugs.

Selina's daughter, Olivia, has a horse that Meka and Maddie took a ride on. They loved every minute of that! They hunted eggs, ate a lot of chocolate cake, play in Olivia's playhouse, and just had a big ole time at everything!

This is Meka with her cousin, Olivia.

Madison's favorite animal at the zoo was the zebra. I think she just likes saying zebra! My dad's
favorite animal is the gorilla. I guess my favorite this trip to the zoo was the baby panda! It sure was cute! The girls loved the petting zoo, carousel, and the train. They wanted to ride the carousel over and over and over!

The girls were "cutting a rug" yesterday evening to some HeeHaw yodeling music. It was so much fun. They wanted to play the same YouTube video over and over and then would break out dancing to it. They thoroughly enjoyed it. We did too.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching this video. I thought it was hilarious. When the girls start complaining or whining sometimes I will break out into "Gloom, Despair, Agony on Me!"
